Factor XPTO: Manual - Wines done by hand

The "Manual Wines" project was born from the desire to continue a family tradition of making wine "the old way" at the small wine cellar under our house in São João de Lourosa, Silgueiros, at the Dão wine region's heart.
It´s from a small 2 ha vineyard at 550 meters high with granitic-sandy soil and indigenous grapes that we produce Manual wines. Wines that respect natural vinification processes and have a sense of place.

The goal is that each harvest represents what the nature gives, exploring natural fermentations and low interventions in the cellar.
These are wines made with love, dedication, and hard work, in limited quantities.
The mixture of know-how and old processes allows us to create wines that better represent our terroir, subtle and delicate wines, full of identity.
To stay true to our principles, calling this project "Manual wines" was a natural step.
