Factor XPTO: The home grapes vibrate again, giving a new dimension to the Pinyanes estate

Gemma Miró is the project of a young vigneron from Falset, in the Priorat region, in the south of Catalonia (Spain). In 2020, she, a biologist and master in viticulture and oenology, specialized in oenological microbiology, feels the call of the land and collects her grandfather’s inheritance intending to recover the family vineyard.
A family bond between grandfather and granddaughter to continue giving value to the land, agriculture, and the 45-year-old vineyard that grows on mixed soils of llicorella (slate), clay and granite on the Les Pinyanes estate. It is a tiny project where all the work in the vineyard is done manually, respectfully and conscientiously.
The entire Les Pinyanes estate is vinified in which three of the area’s typical varieties coexist: Carignan, red Grenache, and Muscat. This gives rise to the three single-varietal wines of this project: La Partió, Les Agulles, and The Lambretta. These are fresh wines that taste like the Mediterranean, wines that will give life, once again, to the home vineyard.
