Quinta do Montalto has belong to the same family for 5 generations and has about 50ha in total, between vineyards, olive groves, orchards and forests, forming a magnificent mosaic in the landscape.

Inserted in the great wine-growing region of Lisbon, the approximately 26 ha of vineyards located on slopes of clay-limestone soils with excellent sun exposure, produce wines with PDO Encostas D’Aire (Medieval de Ourém) and PGI Lisboa Regional.

Located in the center of the country, in the region of Ourém, near Fátima, and with a long winemaking tradition, Quinta do Montalto has a wide variety of grape varieties, with Aragonez and Fernão Pires being the most representative of red and white grapes, respectively. There are also strains of Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Shyra, Baga, Alicante Bouchet, Castelão, Moreto, Cabernet Souvignon, Arinto, Rabo de Ovelha, Olho de Lebre e Alvarinho.

In addition to wines and sparkling wines, the jams, preserves and vinegars produced at the Quinta, demonstrate character and personality, escaping the technological massification and standardization of taste that has been verified worldwide. Obtaining truly genuine regional products, with a unique taste, has guided the work and dedication of the whole family and all the workers.

Pioneers in Portugal, since 1997, all crops at Quinta do Montalto are managed and treated in accordance with the rules of Organic Agriculture.

Without ever forgetting their heritage, the brothers José Filipe and André Gomes Pereira, have been revolutionizing the destinies of Quinta do Montalto, imprinting their personal stamp, just like the generations that preceded them.
